Balancing Pingala Nadi with Aether and Ice

A picture depicting the elements for Balancing Pingala Nadi with Aether and Ice

Restoring Balance to the Right Energy Channel

At the start of your meditation, take a moment to check in with the state of your nadis. The Pingala Nadi, which governs mental energy and future-oriented action, may become overactive or imbalanced. You can restore harmony and improve your meditation experience using aether and ice. These techniques for Balancing Pingala Nadi are simple yet powerful tools for achieving thoughtless awareness.

Using the Aether Element for Balance

Aether, the fifth element, is often overlooked but holds immense power in your meditation practice. As the most subtle of all the elements, it acts as a medium for electromagnetic fields and quantum energies, making it vital for clearing the Pingala Nadi energy flow.

Steps to Clear Pingala Nadi with Aether:
  1. Rest your right hand on your lap, palm facing upward.
  2. Bend your left arm at the elbow and extend your left hand toward the sky.
  3. From your heart, ask:
"Mother Kundalini, please release all heat from my Pingala Nadi into the aether."

This practice allows you to release excess heat and overactivity, bringing calm and balance to the Pingala Nadi.

Cooling Pingala Nadi with Ice

If further balancing is needed, an ice pack provides additional relief by cooling the liver. The liver is known as your 'seat' of attention. A heated liver creates an active 'mind', making it difficult to reach a state of thoughtless awareness.

How to Make and Use an Ice Pack:
  1. To avoid direct skin contact, fill a small, waterproof bag with ice cubes and wrap it in a cloth.
  2. Place the ice pack on your liver area for 5-15 minutes.
  3. Please secure it with a cloth sash if you need it.
  4. Use this technique during meditation or your day, especially before evening meditation.
Important Notes:
  • Avoid using ice packs 45 minutes before eating.
  • Wait at least 2 hours after a meal before starting this treatment.

The Importance of Balancing Pingala Nadi

Balancing the Pingala Nadi enhances focus, clarity, and inner peace by addressing overactivity with the cooling properties of ice and the subtle power of the aether. These practices harmonise the energy system and deepen meditation.
