Self Mastery Check: Sensing Vibrations

Sensing Vibrations

As your Kundalini awakens, you’ll begin to sense gentle vibrations flowing through your subtle system. These sensations may be felt on the palms of your hands, fingers, and at the crown of your head. These vibrations reflect the current state of your subtle system.

Tuning into Your Subtle System

While meditating, pay attention to your hands and the area above your head.

  • Hands
    Close your eyes and bring awareness to your palms and fingers.
    What do you feel? A cool, warm, or perhaps a tingling sensation?
    Whatever arises, please be sure to observe without judgment.
  • Head
    With your right hand, move slightly above your head, sensing for vibrations, then switch to your left hand.
    Is there a cool breeze, warmth, or heat?
  • Internal State
    Do you feel peace, joy, or a lightness of being?
    Is your attention clear and present?

Remember: These sensations are subtle and may take time to notice.

Understanding the Signals

If you feel these sensations—congratulations! Your Kundalini is communicating with you through the central nervous system, signalling that you’re beginning to experience the flow of vibrations. This marks a readiness to delve deeper into balancing your subtle system, which will be explored in Step 2.

If you don’t feel anything yet, don’t worry—each journey unfolds at its own pace. With practice, your awareness will deepen naturally. Return to meditation, focus on affirmations, and guide yourself into thoughtless awareness. Over time, these sensations will emerge more effortlessly.

A Process of Self-Mastery

Self-mastery is a gentle process. Each step brings you closer to a deeper understanding of yourself and your connection to the universe. Trust in the journey and the sensations will naturally guide you toward balance and harmony in your subtle system.
