Introduction to the Swadisthana Chakra
The Swadisthana Chakra, the second chakra and centre of creativity, is suspended like a satellite on a cord from the Nabhi Chakra and circulates the Void. It is located near the sacrum area and is vital in generating inspiration. This chakra enables divine creative expression and influences attention.
When the Kundalini rises, it first moves into the Nabhi Chakra. Then, it travels along the cord to enlighten the Swadisthana Chakra. After that, it returns to the Nabhi before ascending toward the Crown Chakra.
Qualities of the Swadisthana Energy Centre
The leading quality of this energy centre is creativity. It helps you express divine beauty through emotions and actions. This creativity inspires you to manifest your higher self.
Additional Qualities:
- Pure Knowledge: This quality allows for a direct perception of reality. It reveals the absolute truth. Truth that NEVER changes over time. Truth that forms the very fabric of existence.
- Pure Desire: Desire is the seed of all action. When the pure desire to know God awakens, it becomes the fuel for rapid spiritual growth.
Position and Function of the Second Chakra
This energy centre is positioned between the hip bones, slightly left of the liver's base. The liver is known to be our 'seat' of attention. That is, the quality of our liver drives where our attention goes. The Swadisthana and the Nabhi Chakra both work together to help guide your attention.
Where your attention goes, your energy follows. If you focus on the distractions of 3D reality, you remain bound to its limitations. Aligning with this chakra can elevate your attention to higher realms. In doing so, you achieve thoughtless awareness—the silence, peace, and bliss of your self.
