Introduction to the Vishuddhi Chakra
The Vishuddhi Chakra, also known as the throat chakra, is the centre of communication and connection. Physically, it corresponds with the cervical plexus and governs the ears, nose, throat, neck, teeth, tongue, and hands.
This chakra reflects our thoughts and feelings through facial expressions, hand gestures, words, and vocal harmonics. When the Vishuddhi is balanced, it enables positive, constructive, and loving communication that impacts our physical and subtle environments.
After self-realisation, the Vishuddhi Chakra facilitates communication between the Kundalini and our awareness. By sensing vibrations on our hands and fingertips, we can "know thyself" and understand our spiritual state.
Qualities of the Throat Chakra
An enlightened Vishuddhi cultivates several key qualities, including:
- Discretion: The ability to communicate wisely and thoughtfully.
- Diplomacy: Expressing oneself harmoniously in all interactions.
- Detachment: Observing people and events without judgment or reaction.
This chakra enables us to witness the world with a calm, balanced mind. By residing in the empowering state of the Sushumna Nadi, we can engage with life using a "cool" head and a loving heart.
The Highest Quality: Collectivity
The Vishuddhi Chakra's ultimate quality is collectivity. When we awaken its enlightened aspects, such as diplomacy and connectedness, we transcend the "I" and embrace the "we."
- We no longer feel separated from others.
- We recognise our connection to a divine collective body.
- Our desires and actions serve humanity rather than personal gain.
Living in this state affirms that we are firmly on the 4D bridge, progressing toward 5D Consciousness.
